Deposits
Charter Service (To/From Address or as directed)
· Sedan/Limousine – A non-refundable deposit of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) is required to secure vehicle for scheduled service.
· Coordinated Services (larger vehicles) – Required deposit will follow specific vehicle policy.
Payment for Service
A Wise Choice Limousine Service accepts the following methods of payment:
· Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express)
· Electronic Payment (Zelle, ACH)
· Personal Checks, Money Orders, or Cashier’s Check
· Cash
Insufficient payment will be subject to $25 fee for each occurrence. A Wise Choice Limousine Service reserves the right to limit acceptance of personal checks based on insufficient payment history.
Customer agrees to pay a late charge of 2% per month for any unpaid balance including cancellation fees and any hold harmless and indemnification provisions and other attributable damages, as set forth within this contract and shall reimburse Company for its costs of collection, including attorneys’ fees. Attributable damages are fees set forth within this Contract and include but are not limited to: Fees for physical damages, clean up fees, return check fees, overtime fees etc.
Changes in Scheduled Services
The client understands any changes to the contract, once signed, may result in a price adjustment. Chauffeurs do not have the ability to change scheduled services without authorization.
Extension of Scheduled Services
Overtime will be permitted, upon vehicle availability and chauffeur service scheduling. Overtime will be charged at ¼ the hourly rate for every 15 minutes. Availability of overtime is not guaranteed. Overtime rates are non-negotiable. Chauffeurs do not have the ability to waive overtime for any reason.
Special Events Terms and Conditions
Under 21 Charters
· Arrangements for scheduled services must be arranged by parent or guardian.
· A passenger list of all riders must be provided prior to scheduled services.
Wait Time
There is a grace period before overtime charges are applied for all services.
Flight Arrivals
Domestic Flights: A grace period of 15 minutes is provided for all domestic flights. If the passenger exceeds this grace period, additional wait time will be charged.
International Flights: For international flights, a grace period of 60 minutes is provided. If the passenger exceeds this grace period, additional wait time will be charged.
Departures and Special Events
A grace period of 15 minutes is provided for all scheduled services. If the passenger exceeds this grace period, additional wait time will be charged.
Wait Time Charges: Additional wait time beyond the grace period for all services will be charged in increments of 15 minutes based on scheduled vehicle.
Notification: Passengers are advised to notify A Wise Choice Limousine Service in case of any anticipated delays to avoid unnecessary wait time charges.
Exceptions: Exceptions to this policy may be made in cases of extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or other unforeseen circumstances impacting travel times.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are accepted by phone and email only. Emailed cancellations will be valid once acknowledged by A Wise Choice Limousine Service. To avoid cancellations charges notice should be provided based on the following schedule:
Airport Service (Arrivals/Departures)
· Cancellation of service 24 hours before scheduled pick up time will only be accepted by phone.
· Cancellation of service 48 hours before scheduled pick up time will be accepted by phone or email.
Charter Service (To/From Address or as directed)
· Sedan/Limousine Service - Cancellation of service 72 hours before scheduled pick up time will be accepted by phone or email.
· Coordinated Services (larger vehicles) - Cancellation of service will follow specific vehicle policy.
No Show
Your chauffeur will wait 45 minutes after the start of your scheduled service. We will attempt to contact you via phone and email during this time. If we are unable to reach you, your chauffeur will be directed to return to the office.
Without proper cancellation notice, the client will be charged full cost of services.
Lost and Found
Neither the company, its agents or employees shall be liable for any personal property of the Client or Client’s guests, which are misplaced, damaged or left in the vehicle. A Wise Choice Limousine Service shall not be responsible for the safekeeping of any such item.
Smoking, Alcohol and Narcotics or Controlled Substances
All vehicles are strictly non-smoking. Smoking, illegal use of alcohol (if passengers are under the age of twenty-one (21)), and/or narcotics or controlled substances are prohibited and are subject to immediate termination of the trip.
Vehicle Damage
The chauffeur inspects each vehicle before, during and after each rental. In the event of damage Client shall be responsible for any and all harm and damages suffered by the company, its agents, employees, or third parties, including but not limited to the vehicle, in regard to cleaning, breakages, burns, or other interior or exterior damage to extent of the actual cost to repair or replace, with a minimum charge of $500.00.
Additional charges will be applied to the credit card on file to cover any damages that occur; charges are as follows: Lost or broken glassware: $20.00 per glass; Lost or broken decanter: $150.00 Lost or broken aux cable: $30.00.
An invoice for charges in excess of the minimum will be provided to the client.
Decision as to the unusual wear and use of the vehicle interior and its environs rest with A Wise Choice Limousine Service solely, and its experience as to general habitation of hired cars and its decision is final.
LIABILITY AGREEMENT: This agreement is a contractual arrangement of A Wise Choice Limousine Service for the hire of ground transportation service and pertains specifically to the performance by the Client in the vehicle during the time of service.
· Client represents to be at least 18 years of age and legally capable.
· Client hereby verifies that the pickup date, time, number of passengers and billing information are correctly stated.
· Written additions and/or alterations by the Client, without written agreement of the company, are invalid and unenforceable.
· Signature or verbal authorization of the party hiring the car at the bottom of this agreement constitutes full and complete agreement and understanding of said party and his/her responsibility in returning the car to A Wise Choice Limousine Service in the same condition as when received.
· Client agrees for his/her party will not exceed the passenger capacity of the vehicle provided.
· The chauffeur has the right to terminate the trip, without refund, if he/she feels that the party is not abiding by the company rules or is putting the vehicle or the chauffeur at risk.
· Client hereby agrees to hold the company, its agents, and employees harmless from any consequences of such wrongful use by Client or Client’s guests, including the cost to defend against the same.
· Except in the case of willful misconduct or gross negligence of company, its agents or employees, Client hereby waives any and all claims against company, its agents or employees for injury, loss, or damage, including consequential damages, to Client’s person or property from whatever cause. In addition, Client waives any right of subrogation with regard to the same.
· Client understands and accepts that Acts of God, unforeseen traffic, and severe weather conditions delay travel. There may be unexpected vehicle breakdowns and other unforeseen events beyond the control of company, for which company shall not be liable to Client. There shall be no recourse for any of the same. In the event of a vehicle breakdown, all efforts will be made to supply a replacement vehicle. If a replacement vehicle is sent &/or Client refuses a replacement vehicle, no refund is due. If no replacement vehicle is available, refund shall be limited to the amount paid by Client.
· The company reserves the right to institute and establish rules and regulations of guest conduct, which may be amended from time to time, including termination of rental, without refund, due to non-compliant guest conduct.
· Vehicles are sold and /or updated at the discretion of management. Vehicle requests are not guaranteed.
